Ceiling Fans by Size

There’s no ‘right’ size fan for a space. Your ceiling fan size is a personal preference. Consider how your ceiling fan will appear in your space (e.g. bolder, high contrast finishes will dominate a space more than lighter more subtle finishes). Always ensure there is at least 50cm between the tips of your fan’s blades and any wall. For large areas, it can often be more effective to install multiple smaller fans than one large fan. For small areas, consider ceiling fans that are 52″ and smaller. For standard areas, consider fans between 52″ and 60″. For large areas where you can only install a single fan, consider fans over 60″.
