Utilising the latest in DC motor technology to provide a highly efficient cooling solution, the Simplicity DC ceiling fan uses a class-leading DC motor engineered to provide high torque while consuming less power. This allows the Simplicity ceiling fan to provide effective airflow while being extremely energy efficient to operate – using only 31W (52″ model) or 15W (45″ model) on high and as little as 4W on low speed.
DC motors use pulse modulation to keep the motor turning. Essentially what this means is that it is not constantly driving the motor to spin, it does it with pulses of energy at intervals and is one of the reasons they consume less energy than AC motors.

Ideal for smaller spaces where additional light sources are limited, the LED light is integrated into the Simplicity DC ceiling fan to provide additional illumination for small spaces such as bedrooms, offices and media rooms. The 18W LED panel supports Colour Changing Technology (CCT) so you can switch your light temperature between Warm, Cool and Daylight modes.
