Moving the air at a moderate velocity, the Spitfire DC moves above average airflow volume, making for a healthy balance between cooling the area and directly below the fan.

The Spitfire DC ceiling fan takes energy efficiency to the extreme, using only 30W on high and as little as 7W on low.

Can I use this fan indoors and outdoors?

The Black and Matte White finish motors are suitable for both indoor and outdoor (undercover) use. The Brushed Nickel motor finish is recommended for indoor use only due to the plated finish. All blade options are suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. We do not recommend this fan for use in harsh coastal environments.

Does this fan come with a remote control or wall control?

The Spitfire DC ceiling includes a 6-speed remote control as standard which supports fan reversing, fan-off timers and light controls. There is an optional 5-Speed DC Wall Control available, which replaces the included remote control and receiver.

Does this fan support a light?

This product has the option to be purchased with or without a light. Please select your preference before adding to cart. The light is a 18W 3CCT LED Light, which supports dimming and colour changing technology (Warm, Cool and Daylight). An electrician will be required to install this at the time of fan installation.

What is the lowest ceiling height this fan can be installed on?

This fan can be installed on ceiling heights 2.4m and higher. It supports ceiling slopes up to 12° as standard – the Sloped Ceiling Kit accessory is available for higher slopes.

Can I install this fan on a high ceiling?

Yes, this fan supports downrod accessories in 36 inch (90 cm) and 72 inch (180 cm) lengths. These downrods allow the fan to be dropped from the ceiling to more optimal heights, and can be cut to custom lengths by your installing electrician to suit your specific ceiling height.
