DC Motor
Class leading DC motor technology provides amazing performance coupled with exceptional energy efficiency.
Utilising the latest in DC motor technology to provide a high performance and high efficiency cooling solution. The Trinity ceiling fan uses a class leading DC motor engineered with long-life components optimised for Australian power systems. The Trinity DC motor takes energy efficiency to the extreme, using only 34W of electricity on high speed and as little as 5W on low speed.
DC motors use pulse modulation to keep the motor turning. Essentially what this means is that it is not constantly driving the motor to spin, it does it with pulses of energy at intervals and is one of the reasons they consume less energy than AC motors.

Aerodynamic blades
Aerodynamic aerofoil blade design for powerful airflow.
The Trinity DC ceiling fan’s aerodynamic blade design utilises a varying blade pitch to provide sweeping airflow directly below the fan and sweeping outwards from the fan. Aerofoil blades are crafted from polymer (a high grade ABS plastic) that helps ensure highly efficient and quiet air delivery. Each injection moulded blade is corrosion proof, UV stabilised, easy to maintain and weather resistant. This means the Trinity DC’s blades will continue to look stunning for years to come.
Thanks to the aerodynamic nature of the Trinity’s blades, you can often achieve higher airflow at lower RPMs so you can stay cooler with less wind noise. Further, the polymer nature of the blades are quieter than traditional steel blades.

The Trinity DC ceiling fan includes a stylish 8 speed remote control that seamlessly integrates advanced functions into your new ceiling fan, taking convenience to a whole new level.

8 Fan Speeds & Fan Off
Always find the perfect speed setting with more than double the options of traditional AC ceiling fans.

Summer or Winter mode
Enjoy year-round comfort with the Trinity ceiling fan’s built in reversing function.

Natural Wind mode
For even greater relaxation, take advantage of the Trinity’s natural sea-breeze effect.

Fan Off Timer
Conveniently set your ceiling fan to turn off after 1, 3, 6 or 8 hours.
The cost of the remote control and receiver technology are built into the Trinity ceiling fan. To achieve similar functionality in our AC model ceiling fans it would cost an additional $99.00 (incl. GST).

Fan Speeds - RPMS
With 8 speed settings to choose from you will always find the perfect setting for your comfort.
The Trinity DC ceiling fan includes 8 speed settings (more than double that of standard AC ceiling fans) so you have more granular control and flexibility over your cooling and comfort. On its highest setting, the Trinity DC ceiling fan spins 23% faster at 210 RPMs so you stay cool on those hot and humid Australian summer days. And the extra speed options mean you can fine tune your cooling needs with the perfect balance of speed, airflow, noise and power usage.
Rotations Per Minute (RPMs) shows how fast your ceiling fan spins. There are many factors that influence fan performance, so a fast spinning fan may not mean better performance for you. To learn more, read our Ceiling Fan Performance Guide.
Speed 8: 210 RPMs
Speed 7: 192 RPMs
Speed 6: 175 RPMs
Speed 3: 170 RPMs
Speed 5: 158 RPMs
Speed 4: 141 RPMs
Speed 3: 124 RPMs
Speed 2: 106 RPMs
Speed 2: 100 RPMs
Speed 1: 89 RPMs
Speed 1: 52 RPMs
The extra speed settings mean you will often be able to run your Trinity DC ceiling fan more efficiently by fine tuning the speed to match your daily needs. For example, you could run the Trinity DC on Speed 6 to match the 52″ standard AC ceiling fan’s RPMs, while the Trinity would only consume a third of the power (20 W compared to 60 W).

Airflow Volume
The Trinity DC ceiling fan moves 36% more air thanks to the larger than average 56" blade span and variable pitch aerofoil blade design.
Utilising the latest in DC motor technology to provide a high torque motor for rapid RPMs, the all-weather polymer aerofoil blades are able to effectively sweep large volumes of air to help cool medium to large spaces. The Trinity’s aerofoil blades are made of a high grade ABS plastic that ensures highly efficient and quiet air delivery. The ABS injection moulded blades are corrosion proof, UV stabilized ABS, easy to maintain, weather resistant and long wearing.
Speed 8: 13,167 CMH
Speed 7: 12,203 CMH
Speed 6: 11,253 CMH
Speed 5: 10,466 CMH
Speed 4: 9,660 CMH
Speed 3: 9,625 CMH
Speed 3: 8,205 CMH
Speed 2: 7,136 CMH
Speed 2: 6,188 CMH
Speed 1: 5,924 CMH
Speed 1: 2,922 CMH
The Trinity DC ceiling fan moves slightly more air on its medium speed (4) than the standard AC ceiling fan does on its highest speed (3). By running your Trinity fan on Speed 4 you would enjoy similar cooling benefit with the advantage of slower RPMs (less wind noise) and less power consumption (12 W compared to 60 W).

Energy usage
Using only 34W on high speed and as little as 5W on low speed, the Trinity DC ceiling fan uses 43% less power than the standard AC ceiling fan.
Thanks to the latest innovations in DC motor technology, the Trinity ceiling fan is able to offer impressive performance without sacrificing energy efficiency. With more speed settings available, you can fine tune your comfort level and achieve even greater energy savings.
Speed 3: 60 W
Speed 8: 34 W
Speed 2: 30 W
Speed 7: 27 W
Speed 6: 20 W
Speed 5: 16 W
Speed 1: 12 W
Speed 4: 12 W
Speed 3: 8 W
Speed 2: 6 W
Speed 1: 5 W
Using an example electricity rate of 26.62 c/kWh, it would cost $0.13 a day ($11.33 per quarter) to run the Trinity DC ceiling fan on high for 12 hours and low for 12 hours. By comparison, the standard 52″ AC ceiling fan would cost $0.23 a day ($20.92 per quarter). Greater savings can be achieved by tweaking your fan’s speed settings to match your needs. For example, running your Trinity on medium (speed 4) would produce the same airflow volume as the standard AC ceiling fan but reduce it’s energy consumption. Running on Speed 4 for 12 hours and low speed for 12 hours would cost $0.06 a day ($4.94 per quarter).

The Trinity DC ceiling fan takes advantage of the latest innovations in DC motor technology and combines it with highly aerodynamic aerofoil blades to achieve impressive efficiency ratings more than double that of our standard AC comparison model.
Speed 3: 160 CMH/W
Speed 2: 281 CMH/W
Speed 8: 387 CMH/W
Speed 1: 417 CMH/W
Speed 7: 452 CMH/W
Speed 6: 563 CMH/W
Speed 5: 654 CMH/W
Speed 4: 805 CMH/W
Speed 3: 1,026 CMH/W
Speed 2: 1,089 CMH/W
Speed 1: 1,185 CMH/W
Efficiency ratings help identify how much air your ceiling fan moves compared to the power it consumes. A high efficiency rating means your ceiling fan will deliver more airflow for less power and is a good measurement to consider in addition to airflow volume and power usage on their own.
